The
first of the major falls on the Mellte, the 30ft high Sgwd Clyn-Gwyn,
falls in two steps over a tilted sandstone shelf. This fall is the most
difficult of the Mellte waterfalls to photograph due to the steepness of
the gorge at this point. Any other viewpoint would require a wetsuit and
abseil rope; as it is photography from this position requires care not to
step back too far while adjusting the tripod. |
